The Kardashian's

Keeping up with the Kardashian’s

Although I don’t follow celebrity news that often, I have to admit that I followed this TV series called “Keeping up with the Kardashian’s”. To make things short and simple, the series has 6 seasons and each season has around 12 episodes. Basically the genre would be reality TV and yes it is just following their day to day lives, you might be thinking ohhh how boring right?! I have to say it was quite good because there is A LOT of drama which kept me basically entertained throughout the season’s, and I mean A LOT of drama. If you think that you lives have unneeded drama, trust me you have not seen anything yet!
So I heard about this TV series through EOnline and I decided what the heck let me give this show a go. So I started watching it from the very beginning to the very end, never missed an episode or anything, I was a very loyal follower to the show. I must say, every season gets even more dramatic; it got to the point where I was starting to become nervous for them or whomever was involved in the drama.

After watching the full seasons, you get to see major changes that occur in the Kardashian family, unfortunately changes that don’t involve growing up and becoming more mature, instead changes in career paths, relationships with one another. I just found the whole experience quite interesting, because apart from all the drama and ups and downs, they are one hell of a close family, I think behind all of the craziness hectic life comes a very down to earth family that are very family orientated, and it was said throughout the seasons by many of the Kardashian’s that no matter what happens we will always be a close family who love and care for each other.

I found that point to be quite repetitive, which to me is a good this because it teaches youngsters a good lesson as well as ethics and responsibilities, especially in our world today where being independent is now very common in young teenagers, one has to realize how important family is and I think this show accomplished this by sending out messages and setting examples through the characters that were involved in the show.
After they announced that season 6 was the last season, I must say that I was quite upset because it wasn’t just a show that I followed, I felt really attached because I felt that I know them and watched them through so many phases in their lives and saw how they grew not only as a family but as an individual, and I could relate to one specific character mostly which was Khloe Kardashian.
I wanted to kind of follow their news even after the show ended so I came across quite interesting links that allowed me to view latest videos as well as pictures.

Gaga Gone Wild

                                                    Bizarre Implants, Lady Gaga

I wanted to clear the air for once and for all, so I decided to do a little research about Lady Gaga's face and shoulder implants.

First I would like to say how shocked I was to hear about it. It was all over the talk shows but I didn't really believe it so I decided to find answers myself. I came across a news article from The Mail online and of course they were talking about Gaga's appearance on the Jay Leno show with her implants. As I read the article and other articles online, Gaga said that she got her implants done in China, they were specially made for her so she could look like "Star Wars" characters. I find that absolutely bizarre and crazy but yet again i would expect everything and anything from Lady Gaga because she has done it all from dressing up crazy to having crazy hair do's. She has absolutely done it all. I feel with Gaga one should expect the unexpected.

As I read through the article all I could think of was what is next? How much more bizarre can she get honestly. I mean she has crossed all limits in terms of her appearance and I just find it abnormal the way she behaves and puts herself through to her fans and everyone. I just wish Gaga would realize that many people look up to her specially since she has a lot of young fans, so maybe she could stop overdoing a lot of her crazy styles and tone it down a little, because to me honestly it’s starting to become scary. She went from looking like an ordinary beautiful young woman to a scary looking wizard.

The article is quite intersting because it also has links to videos of her on the Jay Leno show and on the show he asks her about the implants and how she decided to get them and why, and I realised that she tries to answer the question but in a very brief manner as if she's trying to avoid the question, and she does that by engaging with her fans sitting in the audience.

Also in the article Gaga says that she smokes weed and drinks a lot of whisky which could be the reason she decided to have these implants. She says that she doesn't want to lie about it so she smokes pot and drinks whisky when shes writing her songs. I find that very courageous to be able to admit and talk about such a thing. She must have some kind of responsability because at the end of the day she is a very well known worldwide singer, she needs to truely undrestand and look at what type of message shes putting through to her fans.

'Miracle babies'

Today I was looking through the BBC news online website and I came across a very interesting news article that was on the home page. It read: 'Miracle babies' pastor to be extradited to Kenya

This story takes place in the UK. This article is about a man from Kenya. He's a pastor and claims that he can make infertile women have 'miracle babies'! I mean who would ever believe that right?! you would be shocked to learn after reading a few lines from the article that two women attending his church actually believed that they were going to have babies, so they go to Nairobi and come back with children that they later find out isn't even their's after having a DNA test! I have to say that is the most ridiculous thing anyone could ever do! travel all the way to Kenya to have your 'miracle babies' delivered in a 'backstreet' clinic!! those women must have lost their minds to do such a thing! I also sympathise with them because I understand the way they were thinking, because the man that told them they could have 'miracle babies' was the pastor of the church they usually attended, so it would be unlikely for them to not have some kind of trust with their pastor, he would be looked up to in a way and respected by them because he had quite a title (Pastor).
He was asked how the babies had different DNA to their alleged parents and he said that the 'miracle babies' that happen in our ministry are 'beyond human imagination'! that just sounds ridiculous! The article should have the title of "The Lunatic Pastor"! I mean he's absolutely crazy!

Both him and his wife are in prison in Kenya. They don't mention for how long or anything. I still think that he should have gotten a more though sentence than just a prison sentence, maybe something like prison sentence with community service?! Also, I really want to know what will happen to the abducted children and their alleged families. I would love to follow up on this story and see how it develops and how they would manage such a complicated situation for both the children and the alleged parents.

I think the court should issue some counselling to the alleged parents that have been affected by this whole ordeal to help the families involved. Even though the children they thought was their's wasn't, they would be affected and could be psychologically distressed because it is hard to give up a baby you believed was yours and later have the court tell you that these babies have been abducted and given to you by your Pastor.

Do & Don't Tips!

Websites give you the freedom to do and say anything you want, but with that freedom we often make mistakes. These mistakes affect our readers in a negative way.  Below are some of my tips on Do's and Don'ts!

Do's
1.  Have a limited amount of text and adding some pictures related to the writing would be appealing to readers.

2. You should be open minded when blogging because that allows room for conversation to take place.

3. You should have a certain amount of information about yourself so that the reader has a clear idea of who they are blogging with or reading about.

4. Blog consistently, it is important to keep updating your blog and blogging quite regularly otherwise you may loose viewers and the readers may loose interest.

5. You should emphasise with your readers, people want to read blogs written by people they can relate to, so keep your reader's interests in mind.

Don'ts
1. Never use foul language because the blog can be seen by everyone, and also because its unethical.

2. Never be too narrow in terms of your thoughts and opinions, allow room for discussions and debate.

3. Do not put up very personal information or personal pictures that you think could harm you in the future or that could affect how you present yourself to your readers.

4. Do not criticise your bloggers or readers personally, instead state your thoughts and opinions in an ethical manner.

5.  Do not post borrowed information either from a website or anywhere without including the sources, as it is considered to be plagiarism
